Free and open source software

Free and open source software (FOSS) is software that can be classified as both "free software" and "open source software", which basically means software that grants users 4 rights:
1. The right to use the software as they wish.
2. The right to modify the software.
3. The right to distribute unmodified copies of the software.
4. The right to distribute modified copies of the software.
